HESI Clonfix is a cloning agent that is indispensable for propagating new independent plants with the same age and genetics as the mother plant. The cloning technique is very popular among indoor growers who want to preserve the genetics of their plants.

Even an inexperienced gardener can easily master the use of Hesi Clonfix. All you need to do is cut off a shoot, apply the gel to it, and place it in suitable conditions. The hormones in Clonfix Hesi stimulate root formation at the cut.

For many, the term “cloning” sounds simply fantastic, but despite this, this technology has been used in plant cultivation for many decades. With HESI products, this procedure becomes even easier and more accessible.

Recommendations for using Hesi Clonfix

The temperature in the root zone can vary from 22 to 27°C.
The optimal ambient temperature is 21 to 26°C, and humidity is 90 to 100%.
Sprouts should receive soft, diffused light. Fluorescent lamps of approximately 20 watts should be used to illuminate the clones.
Spraying the roots with a 25% nutrient solution containing root hormones will accelerate the formation of the root system.
For faster sprout development, optionally spray their leaves with a 15% nutrient solution.
Use of HESI Clonfix:

Select a healthy 3-5 inch long shoot from the mother plant with just over two pairs of leaves (including the tips).

Using a sterile knife or blade, cut the shoot from the mother plant and immediately place it in a container filled with cloning solution. For this purpose, many experts recommend using Hesi ClonFix cloning gel.

The next step is to make a cut at a 45-degree angle, slightly above the first cut. This will prevent air bubbles from entering the shoot's vessels, which would prevent nutrients and water from reaching it.

Now you need to dip the end of the cutting into the cloning powder or gel, then quickly and carefully insert the cutting halfway into the selected starting substrate. Many gardeners use Perfect Starts rooting sponges for this purpose.

After that, the sprouts are sent to a cuvette for germination. For normal plant development, the temperature in the cuvette should be between 22 and 27°C, and the humidity should be between 90 and 100%. The greenhouse should have soft, subdued lighting; 20-watt fluorescent lamps are ideal for this purpose. As a rule, root formation takes 7 to 21 days, after which the sprout is ready to be transplanted to a permanent or temporary location with brighter lighting, which will help it adapt more quickly to sunlight or bright artificial lighting.
