Substrate Plagron Royalmix

Plagron Royalmix is a premium organic substrate designed for growers aiming for maximum yield. It is based on selected types of peat with an increased share of perlite for lightness and aeration, combined with Plagron’s signature worm castings and a complex of organic fertilizers. The mix creates a “breathing” root zone, reliably retains moisture, and supports a rich microflora. Best results are achieved when combined with Alga Grow, Alga Bloom, and Plagron additives.

Application and Parameters

The substrate is ready for planting and transplanting flowering crops in pots. The mix is nutrient-rich, so it is not suitable for very young plants: wait 1–2 weeks after germination/rooting or pre-rinse the Royalmix. Begin feeding around week 4 (organic matter needs about two weeks to become available), and additional nutrition is usually required after ~6 weeks. Monitor pH and electrical conductivity of the irrigation solution.

Composition:

• peat, perlite, worm castings, organic fertilizers;
• pre-fertilized with 10.5 kg/m³ organic fertilizer (NPK 5.5–11–5.5);
• pH 6.0–7.2 (1:1.5);
• electrical conductivity 1.3–2.0 mS/cm (1:1.5).
